I recently finished listening to the audio book of How to Stop Feeling Like Sh*t by Andrea Owen. So good!
Andrea maps out fourteen simple habits that women do subconsciously that lead to unhappiness, discomfort, and basically feeling like crap all the time.
Now, I’ve learned about each of these habits individually. I’ve read about them, worked on them, and tried to overcome them. But what I liked about this particular book, was seeing all the habits grouped together. I realized that while I work on overcoming one habit, I start doing another. I like being able to see just how many of these habits I’m guilty of all at once!
Andrea recommends that instead of trying to beat these habits out of our life, which is impossible, that we become aware of them and have better control of them. These habits are natural for women, and meant to protect us, we just don’t want to go overboard!
