favorites of the month – December 2018

December was such a whirlwind of a month! With the extra work from the Holiday hustle I was barely able to catch my breath. I’m happy to say I not only survived, but I also found some pretty amazing products along the way. Take a look below!

je ne sais quoi Your Perfect Pink Lip Duo

I always go to Ulta Beauty during the Holiday season. It is my favorite time to shop at Ulta because of all the sales, Holiday gift sets, and the new products. Read more about this years trip in my blog post here. While at Ulta I found a new product from It Cosmetics, and I was immediately obsessed! The je ne sais quoi Your Perfect Pink Lip Duo is my new favorite thing. The lip serum keeps my lips hydrated and glossy and the lip treatment is just what my lips needed this winter.

ellie & james “be” collection bar necklace

Scripture Bar Necklaces

I first saw these ellie & james “be” collection bar necklaces on Jane.com. When I went to order they were already sold out! Luckily they came back around on Jane.com and I was able to buy the be real bar necklace. I love it! You can search the full collection here on the ellie & james website. I love the meaning behind these necklaces, and they look great paired with your favorite winter sweater!

Your Skin But Better™ CC Cream with SPF 50+

IT Cosmetics CC Cream

I heard about Your Skin But Better™ CC Cream with SPF 50+by It Cosmetics in November when Greg and I had our day-date facial. My aesthetician recommended it and I knew it had to be worth a shot. I tried it and LOVED it. Such a great foundation. It goes on very light but provides full coverage and looks amazing. I’m so excited every time I use it!

Start Today Journal

Start Today Journal

As some of you know, I am a big fan of Rachel Hollis. I read her book, Girl Wash Your Face, and it blew me away. With her insight and coaching I’ve been able to make BIG changes in my life. I recently purchased her Start Today Journal, and I’ve been using it every morning to start my day off on the right track. This practice has been instrumental to the changes I’ve been able to make.

If you want to know more about Girl Wash Your Face, read my original Blog Post Here.

Here is more detail from the Hollis Co site about the Start Today Journal:

Start Today Journal – All Of Me

The Start Today Journal is the physical manifestation of a process Rachel has done each morning for the last several years. It is a daily tool to help you keep your dreams and goals top of mind and in focus. You’ll begin with a step-by-step guide to figure out exactly where you want to go: think of it as a vision board in journal form! Then, each morning the journal asks you to be intentional about three core things: gratitude, dreams for the future and one major goal. By starting every day by setting your intentions you’ll be shocked at how much quicker you make traction on personal and professional goals.
