Movie List: November 2018

My must see films for November 2018:

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

November 2, 2018

Young Clara needs a magical, one-of-a-kind key to unlock a box that contains a priceless gift. A golden thread leads her to the coveted key, but it soon disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. In that world, she meets a soldier named Phillip, a group of mice and the regents who preside over three realms. Clara and Phillip must now enter a fourth realm to retrieve the key and restore harmony to the unstable land.

Malori and I are super excited to see this movie. She loves the Nutcracker Ballet and performs in it once a year for her dance team. Rated PG, I think it will be a great fantasy movie for the kids. We have our tickets for this Friday, November 2nd!

The Grinch 2018

November 9, 2018

The Grinch and his loyal dog, Max, live a solitary existence inside a cave on Mount Crumpet. His main source of aggravation comes during Christmastime when his neighbors in Whoville celebrate the holidays with a bang. When the Whos decide to make Christmas bigger and brighter, the disgruntled Grinch realizes there is one way to gain peace and quiet. With help from Max, the green grump hatches a scheme to pose as Santa Claus, steal Christmas and silence the Whos’ holiday cheer once and for all.

An all time Holiday favorite, the Grinch is back this season with a whole new twist. This animated version looks fresh and current. The trailer promises many laughs so we are excited about this one!

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

November 9, 2018

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided world.

We are Harry Potter fans in this house, especially my ten year old, Drew, who is mildly obsessed. This movie has been on his radar for months and months! I’m sure we will be rushing to see it on opening day.

Robin Hood 2018

November 21, 2018

Robin of Loxley (Taron Egerton) a war-hardened Crusader and his Moorish commander (Jamie Foxx) mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance.

Oh my goodness! Have you seen the trailer for this?? I’m sorry, but Taron Egerton can play Robin Hood any day of the week in my opinion! I cannot wait to see him this movie! 😉

Ralph Breaks the Internet

November 21, 2018

Ralph and Vanellope embark on an adventure inside the internet to find a spare part to fix a video game.

My whole family really enjoyed the first Wreck it Ralph, so we are excited to see these characters back in action. The trailer seems action packed, and I love how they are bringing in all of our favorite animated characters, such as the Disney Princesses.
